Clarifying the Concept
I realize that I need to clarify the concept of the video. I have four main characters in play at this point – Norman, Janice, David AND the Excel spreadsheet. It turns out that the Excel spreadsheet is the most important character and the concept is “the problem of death paperwork and how to solve that problem” (using the Excel spreadsheet). So – I think the project is now:
1) State the problem and tell why the audience should care about it.
2) Show how one couple solved the problem
3) Show how the audience can download and use the Excel spreadsheet and pdf.
4) Call to action.
I have been exploring resources for Story Telling and Explanations – see resources below.

A couple of things I would do differently:
- I would double check where Norman had his mic. I think he moved it while I was talking to Janice and fixing her mic. His audio is low and hissy.
- I would use the shower curtain or place Norman slightly differently. Sometimes the light did NOT reflect off of his glasses, but then he would move and there would be a reflection. He had to wear the glasses that day because he had just had eye surgery.
- I would have shifted Norman and Janice further apart.
- Janice always seems to be looking to her right (instead of straight or to her left towards Norman). I thought she had a direct line of sight to me – but I should have shifted more to MY right so she would seem to be looking straight ahead.
- Same thing with Norman.
- Should I have placed them side by side? What would have been the best placement?
- To try and solve these problems – I tried to adjust and enlarge in editing but need comments on the “look”.
